Your contagious laugh, welcoming smile made sharing this adventure personal, we’re so glad you were on this journey with us!

We love our new condo, it’s exactly what we wanted and in the absolute perfect neighbourhood.

I started looking for a home the summer 2019.  By the time, I met Phyllis Henderson I’d had 3 different agent who all gave up the search after couple of months. But Phyllis stood with me. We must have seen more than two dozen home with up to 7 fail offers. But she keep sending me new listings. We started talking at the beginning of Covid and by August we had the perfect rental.  

Phyllis was great to work with from the very beginning. She really took the time to get to know us and find out what our situation is and how to best accommodate all of us. She was happy to show us properties and was never in any rush for us to make a decision. After we finally found a home that fit exactly what we wanted and needed, that is when she moved quickly to make sure we were first in line, and helped us every step of the way. She even made sure to look around the area and inspect the house for anything we should include in the contract to help protect us, like asking to have the dead tree removed, from the front yard. Phyllis really knows how to build a good relationship. I will be using her in the future when I look to purchase my first home!

Phyllis is down-to-earth, funny, knowledgeable and professional. Oh yes, “trustworthy” was the ultimate feeling we got from her. She won us over as soon as we met her.  Phyllis introduced us to the people on her tool belt,  Handymen with a truck, Landscaper, Soft Stager. They complement each other and have great dynamics with different skill sets.

Phyllis  will take your breath away with the speed at getting your house “up and ready for sale”. Yet, they were all sensitive to our needs, she seemed to instinctively know we were stressed, anxious, had a lot on our plates and had a lot of other issues to deal with besides selling our house. Her texts were solicitous, kind, caring, reassuring and amusing. She made me smile when I was down, set me at ease.

Keeping our house “show ready” was tedious and onerous. It seemed the process took forever, but in fact it was only a few days prep and our house sold in 1 day.  I know it was because of the transformation.

She is still in the picture . This relationship will not end because we know we made new lasting friendships.

So, if you are in the market to sell your house … you may get many names thrown your way … but the truly good ones are few and far between. All you need comes in one package ..... Phyllis !

  I came into contact with Phyllis by accident as I was browsing the Royal LePage website for rental listings. Looking back on this chance encounter now, I feel so grateful because Phyllis has really taken me under her wing and turned the search for my first apartment into something that is exciting, but completely stress-free on my end. Phyllis is an extremely warm person that makes everyone she meets feel happy and at ease in her presence. From my often shy self, to the tenants hurriedly getting things in order for viewing at each listing, to the random people just walking cute dogs outside as we waited, Phyllis seems to bring out the absolute best in everyone and I genuinely believe that this quality has been a huge asset in our negotiations. At each listing, Phyllis would give me both an objective overview of the pros and cons of each property, as well as her personal opinion as a homeowner, and because of my young age and inexperience in the housing market, her feelings as a mother as well. As she has said to me herself, “If I wouldn’t let my kids live here, you’re not living here either!” and I’ve seen this policy in action when she felt a listing was not being maintained well enough or lacking in certain safety standards that I would have never even considered on my own. When we found the perfect place and geared up to make an offer, the homeowner requested that because of my entry-level yearly salary, I get my father to co-sign on my lease. My father refused, and I was almost sure our plans were shot. To my complete surprise, Phyllis used her negotiating finesse to suggest that my high credit score and considerable savings be considered as assets that would qualify me to rent the property regardless, and actually convinced the homeowner to change her mind. As we completed my rental application together, Phyllis took the time to explain in detail what each clause meant, and answer each of the frankly embarrassing questions I asked that made my lack of experience in this field clear. Overall, I feel incredibly lucky to have come across Phyllis, who is a complete gem of a person, and would recommend her to absolutely anyone looking to make a change in their current place of residence.

Sometimes the planets align, and you are on the path that you are meant to be on.  That is how we felt when we met Phyllis.  Even her name has significance for us.

She put us at ease immediately with her happy disposition and by the end of the first house tour we knew we had a winner, she knows her stuff.
